What is the Pemi River Council?

We are a non-governmental group that watches over the Pemigewasset River. We worry about its health. We worry about things that impact the river in a negative way and applaud things that improve its quality. We have volunteer members from the communities along the river from Woodstock to New Hampton. The coordinating committee meets at least biannually and more often if need be.

Some other groups associated with the Pemigewasset Watershed:

Baker River Council
New Hampshire Rivers Council
Pemigewasset River Local Advisory Committee
